This is a special calendar which
has been developed to handle "rush jobs". As all rush jobs are wanted yesterday,
dates run backwards so that work ordered on the 7th can be delivered on
the 3rd. The 13th is omitted to please the superstitious. There are three
Fridays in every week because everybody wants his job done by Friday. Five
new days at the end of the month cater for "end-of-month" jobs, late completion
of which is discouraged because nobody likes them. There are no Saturdays
and Sundays so that overtime payments can be kept to a minimum. Every week
includes a special day -MIRDAY- for the performance of miracles.
